File under "Stuff happening in Mississippi"

Um, so, I received this picture today from my friend Jac. It's the bulletin board at Madison Avenue Lower School in Madison Mississippi. Can you say MIND BLOWN?!?! And thank you! And also WOW, and whole bunch of other blubbery, weepy, grateful stuff. This is just incredible. I love seeing how teachers and librarians are using MIND YOUR MONSTERS in their schools.

She seems nice. And smart (heh, heh, heh).

Tara Lazar Guest Blog Post

It's never (ever) too early to start thinking about PiBoIdMo. It's a wonderful FREE! online program where picture book writers are asked to dream up one idea per day for the month of November. Tara supports participants with daily posts from guest authors and industry experts. I was lucky enough to be featured on her site as a "success story," which you can see here:

Thank you again Miss Tara!
